Az aszálytól sújtott brazil pusztaságban számkivetett motorosokból álló csapat kutat egy csodatevő ereklye után. Egy erőszakos és nagy hatalmú földbirtokosnál találják meg az esőhozó szent aranyszobrot. Elrabolják az ereklyét, de a földbirtokos emberei megölik vezetőjüket, a vallási fanatikus Pai Nossót. Helyette Ara lesz a csoport új vezére, aki kétségbeesetten küzd saját kételyeivel, miközben esőt próbál hozni a szobor segítségével.

In the drought-devastated Brazilian backlands a band of outlaw bikers led by a religious fanatic, Pai Nosso, is in search of a miracle: the rain-bringing, Golden Saint statue. When they steal the statue from a violent and powerful local landowner and their leader is killed, Ara becomes the biker gang’s leader. In his desperate attempts to make it rain he is faced with difficult choices in the name of his shaken faith.
