A Budapest Ritmo filmprogramja idén kimagasló tehetségű énekesnők, a roma zeneiség és a zene univerzális ereje előtt tiszteleg: a Toldi moziban zajló filmvetítések során Věra Bílá, Ida Kelarová, Omara Portuondo, Lakatos Mónika és Elis Regina alakja a közép-európai roma közösség, az afrokubai miliő vagy éppen egy Los Angeles-i stúdió előterében rajzolódik ki. Az elmúlt évek zenei Ritmo-filmjei közül Regős Ábel és VENI (Szász Veronika) alkotása, az Újra meg újra, illetve Reisz Gábor és Szimler Bálint filmje (MORDÁI) lesz újra látható. Az idei Ritmo-film bemutatójára, vagyis Vincent Moon a Dalinda együttes zenéjére készített filmperformanszára – rendhagyó módon – az Akvárium Klubban kerül sor.

Female singers, Roma music and the boundless power of music are the themes of Budapest Ritmo’s film program this year. In the Toldi cinema the figures and unforgettable voices of Věra Bílá, Ida Kelarová, Omara Portuondo, Mónika Lakatos and Elis Regina emerge against a background of rural Roma communities in Central Europe, the Afro-Cuban music scene or a studio in L.A. in the seventies. Ritmo films of past years: Again and Again by Ábel Regős and VENI (Veronika Szász), and MORDÁI by Gábor Reisz and Bálint Szimler will also be screened. The premiere of this year's Ritmo film, Vincent Moon's film performance on the music of Dalinda will take place at Akvárium Klub.
