Bővebben a filmről

Így látták ők… az 1972-es müncheni olimpiát. És hogy kik? Nyolc filmrendező a világ különböző tájairól: Jurij Ozerov, Mai Zetterling, Arthur Penn, Michael Pfleghar, Icsikava Kon, Miloš Forman, Claude Lelouch és John Schlesinger. Az általuk készített nyolc rövidfilm lényege nem az eredmények ismertetése, hanem elsősorban egy-egy sajátos meglátás. Miközben a világ legjobb sportolóinak erőfeszítéseit mutatják, a rendezők a film médiumának teljes eszköztárát bevetik.

This is how they saw it… the 1972 Munich Olympics. So, who? Eight film directors from all over the world: Yuri Ozerov, Mai Zetterling, Arthur Penn, Michael Pfleghar, Icsikava Kon, Miloš Forman, Claude Lelouch and John Schlesinger. The point of the eight short films they each made was not to report on the results but primarily to create personal sightlines of the Games. While covering the efforts of the world’s top athletes, these eight directors employ the entire toolbox of the medium of film. Thanks to fast motion, slow motion, angle choice and montage, they reveal the event as nobody had done before. Visions of Eight is a paean of praise to the beauty of sport, the greatness of the human body and the power of filmmaking.
